Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 Year / First-time Travelers Welcome License: Valid RN license or Compact RN license required Certifications: Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse Must-Have: - Experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care setting- Ability to work weekends (4 weekend shifts in a 6-week period)- Flexibility to float between units Job Description: - Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.- Work in a Short-Term Acute Care Facility with Level II Trauma Center capabilities.- Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions.- Deliver patient care in accordance with hospital policies and nursing procedures.- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. - Maintain accurate documentation using Epic charting software.- Participate in a 40-hour orientation program.- Complete necessary training modules annually, averaging 16 hours.Note: Completion of modules is self-reported, and time spent is recorded in transcripts. Compliance documentation must be submitted before the specified deadline.
