Summary You will serve as a PRODUCTION SPECIALIST in the PRODUCTION DIVISION (PRW3) of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. Responsibilities You will direct development of work sequence by use of critical path modeling, data records, production process plan, and shop orders. You will assemble cost report data using an automated spreadsheet (e.g., Microsoft Excel) to develop analyses in determining trends. You will consult with civilian or military personnel to obtain or exchange information to accomplish work-related activities. You will evaluate operational issues to recommend solutions and improvement. You will develop and implement cost reduction processes or programs to identify unnecessary costs. You will create reports to document cost estimates, customer requirements, work scheduling, or tracking of work in progress. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Accurately document work processes, procedures and output measures; 2) Implement a systematic procedure for assessing compliance with performance objectives and standards; 3) Accurately document quality inspections conducted throughout the execution of work; 4) Develop assessment-driven corrective actions and process adjustments as appropriate in a timely manner; 5) Analyses and investigates metrics and customer survey results and recommends or initiates corrective action; 6) Performs quality assurance inspections on all FMS work types, and can implement a Quality Assurance Evaluation guideline in analyzing work processes to determine their adequacy in meeting contractual requirements.
