Junior Salesforce Developer

Overview GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Junior Salesforce Developer in a fully remote position. Position Overview: The Junior Salesforce Developer will work on custom development in an enterprise Salesforce solution. They will use Apex and Visualforce to develop custom flows, work with the data model, and create custom views. They will also handle configuration tasks like Lightning Page customization, portal configuration, and working on integrations with third-party applications (SAP, Marketo) and Data Loader. The Junior Salesforce developer will also manage user access and create reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate also has experience with APIs and Salesforce integrations (MuleSoft, middleware maintenance, and data transformation). Responsibilities Write and deploy Apex code including classes, triggers, SOQL, and REST/SOAP services Develop custom user interfaces with Visualforce or Lightning Web Components Participate in functional and technical meetings throughout the development lifecycle Minimum Qualifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with internal and client stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate those requirements to business analysts Basic Apex Experience Basic familiarity with UI/UX and Design principles Understanding of Salesforce Data Security and Sharing model Experience with Salesforce configuration (Lightning Page Builder, User Management, Portal Customization) Experience with Data Migration and Integration Experience with the Agile framework and DevOps practices Preferred Experience: Salesforce Administrator Certification or Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification What We Do: Working for GDC means you will be at the forefront of the technological world.
