OVERVIEW OF THE ASSISTANT CONTROLLER ROLE:

  • Manage and analyze financial statements and reports, with a focus on P&L performance.
  • Drive financial forecasting for ongoing and future projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
  • The Assistant Controller will oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control processes, including performance monitoring.
  • Conduct detailed financial performance analysis, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are achieved.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • The Assistant Controller will assist in preparing financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and reporting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR ASSISTANT CONTROLLER ROLE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, Senior Accountant, or Assistant Controller in manufacturing or construction.
  • Strong expertise in financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and project financials.
