The Orthopedic Research department based in Naples, FL includes a team of clinical, biomaterials and biomechanical professionals. Arthrex is actively searching for a Clinical Research Intern pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Biologics, Health Science or similar area to support the Orthopedic Research department. The successful candidate will work alongside the team organizing research studies to contribute to advances in the medical community. Excellent communication and analytical skills are required for success in this position. The individual will also work within the requirements of their tasks to deliver results and communicate issues in a timely and accurate manner.
This internship will run from May 2025 – August 2025. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.
Main Objective:
To familiarize selected student to the various elements of clinical research.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support on-going research studies by reviewing data and information for completeness and accuracy using standard guidelines.
- Maintain study specific documents.
- Analyze, interpret, and review scientific, technical, and regulatory literature.
- Gather and organize data to provide information for departmental special projects or reports.
- Provide administrative support to research team.
Education and Experience:
Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Biologics or Health Science. A college senior or recent graduate required. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
