NJM's Law & Regulation department is seeking an attorney to join our team. Responsibilities include providing legal advice and support to NJM's Contract Management and Compliance teams, as well as NJM's Corporate Counsel and General Counsel.
Maximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Reviewing third party and vendor agreementsProviding guidance to colleagues and business leaders on a variety of topics including legal, compliance, corporate, and data protection mattersWorking with teams throughout the company to analyze legal matters, and devise solutions to enable business objectives to be achievedRequirements:Experience handling contracts and/or regulatory matters; prior experience with property and casualty insurance is a plusCritical thinking skills and business judgmentAbility to work independently on projectsStrong communication skillsAbility to make decisions, propose solutions, and solve problemsExperience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlinesStrong relationship-building skills and a commitment to customer serviceJuris Doctorate degree requiredLicensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey is required. Additional license to practice law in New York or Pennsylvania is a plus
