Adobe Road Winery is seeking an innovative, dynamic, & collaborative Marketing Director to lead the charge for marketing, communications, public relations, business development & social media. This role will immerse you in the world of our game-changing new riverfront entertainment center, the premium wine world & professional sports car racing.Who We AreAdobe Road Winery is a boutique winery with a winning spirit. As an award-winning boutique producer crafting small production, ultra-premium wines from Sonoma & Napa counties, our wine brand has a distinct connection to motorsports through our founders, Kevin & Debra Buckler. Kevin's incredible career with 4 victories at the 24 hours of Daytona, a win at Le Mans, over 100 professional victories & 7 championships, is a fantastic way to weave in the authenticity of our winning racing background. We’ve earned over 100, 90+ scores from the top wine critics.ARW produces approximately 7,000 cases annually & is on record growth. Our launch of a new line called The Racing Series has seen unprecedented success & is scheduled to ramp up quickly. The Racing Series wines feature six luxurious blends inspired by pivotal moments on the racetrack, pairing our passion for racing with world-class winemaking, cutting-edge entertainment, creativity & winning.With our upcoming expansion in Petaluma—an all-new, state-of-the-art 16,000 sq. ft, 3-story winery & entertainment complex on the riverfront—we're setting the stage for unforgettable experiences. Our team operates with a racing mentality: agile, strategic, & driven with a do-what-it-takes attitude.Job DescriptionAdobe Road Winery has an exciting, immediate career opportunity for an extraordinary Marketing Director, with responsibility & oversight for all marketing to include: brand management, communications, social media, public relations while also actively seeking & capitalizing on business development opportunities. Our historical record has yielded some amazing partnership opportunities across the US & we need someone skilled in nurturing, activating, & leveraging these important opportunities. You will be working directly with the CEO.This position will oversee our digital marketing space, overseeing creative e-comm campaigns, content marketing, print, event marketing, always at the highest professional level. You will be communicating with wine & food publications & representatives, crafting the story of our brand the same way that we craft our excellent, award-winning wines. Working with our Social Media Manager, you will be in charge of content & strategy for our Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, trade portal, & search engine marketing. This is a true director level position. Innovation, drive, creativity, execution & follow through will all be core competencies.You will drive growth by creating demand for the brand across all channels- FOB, DTC, & online. The goal is not only to sell more wine; the goal is to create the pull through that comes with a hot/cult/up & coming winery both in the short term & longer term. You will create a marketing plan & execute, while monetizing & monitoring the results/performance & adjusting appropriately. Data-driven analysis, forecasting impact & tracking of the success of all initiatives will be essential.Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Collaborate with winemaking team to develop & update tasting notes for all wines.Oversee timely submissions of wines to publications & competitions; regularly update awards & accolades.Manage marketing spend in line with approved budget.Update brand standards & ensure all materials & messaging complies.Lead annual process to develop new advertising campaigns in collaboration with CEO. Develop new campaigns which elevate & refresh both brands while maintaining consistency with brand standards.Lead annual process to update packaging in collaboration with CEO. Ensure all label designs are approved by agreed-to deadlines to allow sufficient time for COLA approval & label printing before bottling dates.Update sales & hospitality teams on new programs & marketing campaigns.Represent ARW at external tasting events & identify external events that will generate additional revenue & brand exposure.Develop, implement, & execute administrative & technical procedures to provide responsive after-sales service to customers (e.g., Yelp comments, thank you for visiting communication).Represent the voice of the consumer for internal decision-making & planning.Follow & enforce company policies & procedures.Maintain an environment in which people can contribute their full range of talents to accomplish organizational goals, build respectful relationships, mentor through instruction & lead by example.Communicate clear priorities & responsibilities for all projects to team members & identify performance needs of team members.Provide motivation & build teamwork to create the “one team” approach to sales & customers.Conduct business in a manner consistent with all legal & regulatory considerations about all winery activities.Copywrite for brand decks, e-comm campaigns & newsletters.All other duties/tasks as needed & assigned.Requirements:5 years marketing experience with proven success.Wine Industry knowledge & experience.Social media excellence.Must be proficient at leading, team building, & be a team player.Top-level written & verbal communication skills.Passion for the wine industry.Public Relations experience.Desire to be part of a Winning Team!Employment Details:Employment based in Petaluma, CA & requires the ability to travel & occasional evenings weekends.
