Information Technology System Administrator
Supervises:
No supervisory duties are included in this position.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in system, network administration and service desk
Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, Network +, Security +, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), etc.

Must possess a strong technical foundation.
Experience with Windows and MAC operating systems.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite/ O365 and Single Sign On.
Experience with network protocols and security.
Experience with Cloud (AWS/Azure) and SaaS applications
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ensures confidentiality and reliability of the Club’s data and proprietary information.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, technical and non-technical.
Strong organizational skills and ability to balance priorities.
Job Summary
(Essential Functions)
The IT Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Club's computer systems, networks, applications, and Service Desk. Includes installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software, troubleshooting problems, and supporting users. In addition, the IT Administrator is the first line of support to solve issues and works with vendors to ensure the company's IT systems are up-to-date and secure.
This position requires flexibility, patience, problem-solving, and business savvy. Technical skills and experience are necessary, but situational awareness and people skills are equally important. You will be helping staff and members of varying technical abilities.
Job Tasks/Duties
Maintains, installs, and configures various computer systems, networks, and applications the Club uses.
MFA, VPN, O365, Jonas Club Software, Cisco PBX, Servers, Wi-Fi, CCTV, DHCP, VLANs, etc.
Monitor performance and troubleshoot problems with systems, applications, and networks.
Provide support and training for end users, including on/off-boarding.
Implement security measures to protect Club data and improve security posture.
Documents all system processes, procedures, and operations and maintains up-to-date operations manuals.
Ensures that all data and programs are backed up and routine restores are performed.
Performs preventive maintenance on computers, servers, and network devices.
Patch management, firmware updates, etc.
Administer servers, computers, printers, network equipment and mobile devices, software deployment, updates and patching, and cloud platforms.
Work with management to address IT shortcomings and help find and roll out solutions.
Attends internal department and staff meetings.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
Moderate noise level in the work environment.
Must be able to travel between San Francisco and Sonoma office locations as needed
