Job Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Manager is a working leader, responsible for meeting the staffing needs of the organization by sourcing and screening applicants, making recommendations for hire, and driving the overall talent acquisition strategy. Operating with autonomy and minimal oversight, the Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for both the strategic vision and successful execution of talent acquisition efforts.
In addition to leading and mentoring a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists, this role serves as the voice and key partner for employment branding initiatives. The Talent Acquisition Manager will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to build and promote a compelling employer brand, ensuring that it aligns with the organization's culture and values to attract top talent. They will champion the organization's reputation in the marketplace, crafting strategies to increase visibility and enhance the candidate experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create an efficient talent acquisition process that sources, screens and hires applicants to meet organizational needs.Responsible for completion of all aspects of the Talent Acquisition process, this includes conducting criminal background checks and on-boarding for New Employee Orientation (NEO).Create and execute a strategic plan to recruit current staffing needs with qualified candidates.Focus on finding candidates who are a cultural and technical fit.Mentor and lead Talent Acquisition Specialists. Hold them accountable to meeting organizational needs.Build strategic relationships with community resources that will be able to help the organization with future needs.Responsible for attending off-site career fairs or other programs to help build organizations brand and to meet new applicants.Act as the recognized expert in recruitment. Be a resource to hiring managers.Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and be a Master User.Provides and monitors employment metrics (time to fill, turnover, etc.) and provides periodic reports to leadership when requested.Meet and maintain appropriate Human Resources budget items.Communicate variances to Human Resources and/or company leadership.Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.Understands ETE core values and leads by example.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business.5+ years progressive experience in a Human Resources talent acquisition role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Previous leadership experience highly valued.Strong experience with a variety of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.Spanish language skills a plus.Self-starting and motivated; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help othersStrong communication skills with great attention to detail.Ability to "sell" the organization.Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office.
