Full Time, ExemptJones Networking has a career opportunity available for a Sr. Human Resources Manager to join a Financial Services Firm in Reston. VA. This role leads the Human Resources function of the organization. Our client offers a competitive salary, employer paid healthcare, 401(k) with company match, long & short term disability insurance, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, flexible spending account, bonus opportunities and much more!Sr Human Resources Manager Summary:-Provide expertise and hands-on support in multiple HR areas including: workforce planning, onboarding, performance management and change management.-Administer policies & procedures as well as act as the main communication line for management / department heads regarding policies, procedures, programs and general Human Resources information.-Ensure compliance with EEO, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, and other applicable federal & state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance across all states.-Handle all reports and communication related to FMLA & other employee leaves, ACA, EEO-1, unemployment, employee statistics and other government reporting, including resolving claims.-Partner with the Payroll & Benefits team to ensure proper checks & balances; reviews pre-process payroll for accuracy.-Oversee management & maintenance of company Human Resource systems; i.e., HRIS System & perform regular audits, LMS system including designing & uploading new training material with activity reporting.-Manage ATS system including candidate pipeline & actively monitoring career pages on job boards & social media outlets, etc.-Oversee the maintenance of all personnel records; regularly audit the processing of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations.-Lead the organizational training efforts across all company functions; oversees & facilitates training of managers related to recruitment, performance reviews, safety, sexual harassment, and other policies & programs.-Conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.-Implement pay-for-performance compensation plans across all functions of the organization.Supervisory Responsibilities-Direct supervision of 1-2 people and related responsibilities.Qualifications Summary:-Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development / Leadership, Management or relative field required. MBA preferred.-Minimum five years' experience in Human Resources management including full life cycle recruiting, training, compensation, regulatory awareness & responses, and employee relations.-Strong understanding of multi-state HR laws, including audit & payroll requirements.-Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized with a strong focus on time management, process improvement and results.-Ability to think outside the box and understand developmental needs of an agile, growing mid-sized company.-Strong critical thinking skills, actively seeking opportunities, and proposing effective solutions.-PHR / SPHR or SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP Certification.-Demonstrated approaches to problem-solving with good business acumen and strong decision-making capability.-Advanced level of proficiency in HRIS systems and knowledge of fully-integrated ATS, Background, Onboarding and Payroll systems.-Collaborative work style and ability to effectively work across departments to get the results and support needed.
