We are an infrastructure company seeking corporate paralegal to join a highly collaborative workplace.
Our focus is acquiring real estate and developing solar, wind and battery power projects to offer a unique solution to the market that enables a zero-carbon world.The ideal candidate is experienced with real estate, contracts, permitting and corporate governance.
Previous experience working for a law firm or corporate legal team required.
Experience in the power and renewables sectors a plus.
Role is available for immediate hire.
Job Responsibilities:Drafting, filing and managing various business entity documents for corporations and LLCs, including entity formation, entity foreign qualifications, obtaining EINs and annual reportsPrepare resolutions, consents, board minutes and other corporate governance documentsEnsure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirementsAssist with contract negotiations and reviewSupport management of active contracts, including real estate leasesAssist with all stages of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitionsCommunicate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., board of directors and auditors)Develop, implement and manage policies and procedures for managing the company's recordsPrepare, update and manage corporate policies and proceduresProvide support in litigation and dispute resolution processesSupport office manager functions when requiredOrganizes and manages documents, including creating spreadsheets and retrieval systemsUses legal software, databases and other software to support company operations
