As a Human Resources Generalist with J Brothers Investments you will be responsible for partnering with the Director of Human Resources on various HR functions such as; recruitment and onboarding, benefits and leave administration, training and coaching, along with supporting the needs of employees, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening applicants, conducting interviews, and making job offers.

Act as a point of contact for employees to address their concerns, issues, or questions.

Mediate and resolve conflicts among employees, promoting a harmonious work environment.

Maintain and audit the onboarding programs to ensure new employees have a smooth integration into the company.

Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new hires with company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.

Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and coordinate open enrollment.

Ensure that the company complies with all relevant labor laws and industry-specific regulations.

Develop and update HR policies and procedures, keeping them in line with evolving legal requirements.

Support performance appraisal processes, providing guidance to managers and employees.

Help establish and track performance goals and development plans.

Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Encourage professional growth and career development within the organization.

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files and HR databases.

Generate and analyze HR reports as needed.

Collaborate with safety and compliance teams to ensure workplace safety and adherence to regulations specific to the cannabis industry.

Address safety concerns and provide guidance on safety protocols.

Education & Qualifications:

Highschool diploma or equivalent, required.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is a plus.

3 years Proven experience in HR

Knowledge of labor laws and regulations, particularly those relevant to AZ

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a must.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR issues, required.

Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.

Standard office environment.

Typical working conditions for an office environment, including prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.

Climate-controlled office space.

Routine use of standard office equipment.

Some travel may be required.
