The Associate Director of Graduate and Accelerated Online Degree Admissions will provide direct supervision to several members of the Graduate and Accelerated Online Degree Admissions team and will serve on the Admissions leadership team. They will offer admissions support for one or more graduate programs, acting as the first point of contact for students embarking on their educational journey at George Fox.

Establishing a regular check-in schedule for evaluating and coaching performance.
Serving as the first line of support for counselor questions and concerns.
Actively engaging in the admissions leadership team by planning activities, contributing to decision-making, hiring and training staff, and setting the team's strategic direction.
Representing the university in a positive and professional manner (10%)
Acting as the first point of engagement for prospective students.
Serving as an ambassador for the university by providing program information, answering questions, and resolving emerging problems with accuracy and efficiency.
Responding to incoming calls and email inquiries, addressing questions about degrees and services, and connecting applicants to resources.
Building relationships with prospective students to understand their nuanced educational journey while encouraging them to consider George Fox (10%)
Seeking to understand the concerns of prospective adult students and resourcing them to help overcome barriers.
Contributing in meetings with the wider admissions team and division to discover new communication tactics, best practices, and enhance recruitment skills through collaboration.
Gaining expert knowledge about academic programs to effectively counsel students in their education decision process (10%)
Finding creative ways to proactively recruit students by hosting campus events or conferences and delivering presentations in various settings.
Connecting with faculty and alumni to understand outcomes and the wider field.
Researching market trends, forecasting enrollment, and reporting on goals and program growth.
Assisting prospective students throughout the application process from application to enrollment (10%)
Helping students understand the requirements to apply for a program of study.
Guiding students in gathering necessary application information and materials.
Troubleshooting any issues that arise during the application process.
Meticulously reviewing applications, organizing additional materials, checking for missing or incorrect documentation, and processing applications for faculty review.
Planning and coordinating student-centered events and communication strategies (10%)
Organizing information sessions, campus tours, and interview days for prospective and admitted students.
Designing and implementing a proactive email and SMS communication strategy by writing engaging copy, managing the prospective students contact database, and responding to student inquiries.
Collaborating closely with technical and marketing teams to strategically achieve these goals.
Communicating effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of teamwork, respect and customer service.
By actions, words, and lifestyle, be a Christian role model to students, whether through casual contact or in a formal supervisory role.

The Associate Director of Graduate and Accelerated Online Degree Admissions embarks on a rewarding journey with prospective students as they navigate the discernment and application process for George Fox graduate and adult degree programs. They share their expertise on academic offerings and provide guidance from initial inquiry to enrollment. Each day brings new experiences, whether interacting with students and faculty through email, Zoom, or in-person information events and interviews. The Associate Director of Graduate and Accelerated Online Degree Admissions also supervises and supports multiple admissions counselors in their recruitment efforts. This role plays a crucial part in shaping students' lives and contributing to the overall success of the University!

A Bachelor's degree.
