ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Architect to join our team in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Designs and supervises a data infrastructure, data flows, and data management principles.

Codes visual aspects of a database, including display icons, interface, and other interactive components and creates code libraries and instructional materials for other professionals to update data systems.

Identifies installation solutions for new databases, determines requirements for new databases, and identifies areas of improvement for current database.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in data science or related field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Senior level operations management, administrative management, or project management experience within the past five years

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and competing requirements. Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.

5-10 years of professional and technical experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or related role developing data models and architectural solutions.

Knowledge of developing and using data standards comprising common formats, representation, definition, structuring, manipulation, tagging, transmission, use, and management of data

5-10 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing business applications from business concept through to production

5-10 years of experience working with data programming languages (Python, Java, SQL,etc.) and data orchestration and integration pipelines

Knowledge of cloud computing platforms similar to Amazon Web Services, Azure or equivalent.

Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with CIA Commercial Cloud Enterprise (C2E) or NSA GOVCLOUD or other major cloud providers.

Understanding of software development lifecycle including Agile and traditional project management and delivery methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Project Management or Program Management Professional certification

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification

Clearance Requirements:

Active TS/SCI security clearance

Physical requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
