Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking 2 full time Integrated Logistics Support Managers (ILSM) for our Bridgeton, MO facility. This position is responsible for supporting all logistics efforts as well as leading a team of logisticians, trainers, publication authors and field support personnel to completion of projects. This support will be applied to a variety of military programs including navigation systems, land systems, communication and control systems as well as other programs.Job Responsibilities
Responsible for leading all logistics efforts for a project or projects including budget, cost, schedule and performance monitoringLeads a team of logisticians, trainers and field support personnel to the completion of complex projectsForecasts and plans logistics assigned project team workloads, budgets, and tasksEnsure compliance with all project logistics requirements based on customer needsAbility to independently lead a team of logisticians, trainers, and field support personnel to complete a project or projectsDefine logistics support requirements in context of customer needsParticipate in preparing proposal inputs concerning product support areasFinalize requested task/man-hour estimates from submittals of the internal logistics groups and forwards through the appropriate signature cycle with necessary justificationCoordinate logistics support program activities in the areas of spares, technical data, test equipment, field service, training, field and in-house modification programs, and change control with customersAnalyze engineering change documentation to determine applicability and scope of effort on logistics support activities Participate in Engineering Change Control BoardsIssue work authorization and statements of work to logistics groups to support program performanceMonitor cost, schedule and performance criteria of each logistics group on his assigned product line and makes recommendations to group supervisor for improvementsProvide data relative to support program areas to logistics manager and group supervisors and recommend remedial actionAttend engineering, marketing, and program management meetings to provide support planning guidance and requirementsSupport, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organizationAttend appropriate engineering, customer or business meetingsMentor and coach less experienced logisticiansQualifications
Bachelor's degree in science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience3+ years ofexperience working in logistics support (ILS)Must possess strong electrical and mechanical knowledgeMust have good communication skills, both oral and writtenMust be proficient in using Microsoft OfficeAbility to work in a team environment and provide leadership guidanceU.S. Citizenship required.
