Salary and Benefits for IPS Employment Specialist
Hourly rate of $21.63 - $24.84 based on relevant experience

Responsibilities of the IPS Employment Specialist
Meet with referred clients to assess for employment needs, strengths, barriers, and assist in creating an individualized treatment plan based on the client’s goal, following the principles and procedures of IPS supported employment.
Assist clients with identifying and acquiring full-time or part-time jobs of their choice.
Assist clients with job development and job search activities
Assess clients vocational skills and preferences on an ongoing basis utilizing background information and work experiences.
Discuss client’s preference for disclosure of mental health status to employers. Provide education and support to employers as agreed upon by clients.
May assist with request job accommodations on the client’s behalf.
IPS Employment Specialist Qualifications
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or human service field preferred.
Equivalent work experience in the human services field, or a combination of work experience in the human services field and education, with one year of experience substituting for one year of education, may be considered.
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
6 months of volunteer or paid experience working with individuals in the community.
Preferred:
experience working with individuals with mental health issues.
