What will you do as a Human Resources Manager?
This position is a business partner supporting the Operating Company and a dedicated client group. Duties will include all aspects of the HR discipline to include: HR strategy, performance management, training & development, recruitment, compensation, organizational development, and employee relations.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field requiredAdvanced degree preferredPHR or SPHR preferred10+ years direct Human Resources experienceLabor relations experience strongly preferredCritical ability to maintain confidentialityExcellent communications skills, both oral and writtenDriven to deliver short and long-term results. Your core responsibilities are:
Abides by all safety procedures and practices applicable to location and position; participates in appropriate safety training; demonstrates commitment to and support of SH&E principles and values; champions safety as necessaryLeads HR related projects as neededProactively handles employee relations matters and concerns; conducts employee investigationsLeads processes to recruit, develop, promote and retain employees. Directs employment activities assuring the timely placement of qualified candidates in salaried, hourly, and temporary positions.Assists the Managing Director and Finance Manager in the development and execution of policies and the annual performance and budget planEnsures compliance with employment-related laws (EEOC, OSHA, Wage and Hour, etc.)Develops and administers wage and salary policies, processes and surveys to ensure competitive rates of payCoaches and counsel managers; serves as consultant to management in employee matters; interprets and communicates policies; discusses options in employee relations mattersAdvises management on organizational policy matters; recommends changes as necessaryDevelops and fosters relationships with client groups and appropriate external vendorsAssists in design of on-boarding process for new employees; assists with benefit enrollmentMaintains records; compiles statistical reports on personnel related dataFacilitates employee satisfaction surveys and action teams; holds focus group meetingsOversees job description process; ensures job descriptions are updated as necessary; verifies regulatory complianceParticipates in compensation surveysConducts exit interviews; documents findings; reports findings to appropriate partiesAssists with succession planning; identification and development of the talent pool, keeps and updates recordsDevelops and delivers training for supervisors, managers, and employees; designs training programs including, but not limited to, leadership, diversity, regulatory and legal requirements, employee orientation, etc.Performs other duties assigned by management that fall within the generally expected scope of this position

This employee generally works in an office environment, away from extremes of cold or heat. Limited to no exposure to noise and vibrations other than normal daily office sounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee should not have regular exposure to fumes, odors, toxic conditions, dust or poor ventilation.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, speak and hear. The employee is required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; the employee may be required, on occasion, to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Required to travel by air, rail, bus, or car.
