Our client, a leading manufacturer of industrial wood pellets, seeks a dynamic Plant Manager to oversee their White Hall, Arkansas facility. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented leader with a proven track record in manufacturing operations. As Plant Manager, you will be responsible for driving production efficiency, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to meet financial objectives.Key Responsibilities:•Operational Excellence:o Optimize production processes to maximize output and minimize costs.o Maintain our preventative maintenance program to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety regulations.o Drive adherence to standard operating procedures through training and accountabilityo Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.o Optimize and track performance metrics for cost efficiency, waste reduction, and quality control.•Team Leadership:o Lead and motivate a diverse team of over 100 operational, maintenance and support staff.o Drive a continuing culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement ando Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching and oversee capacity building in our workforceo Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.o Provide training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and performance.•Safety and Compliance:o Foster our safety-first culture by ensuring strict adherence to all safety and environmental regulations and promoting a safety-first culture for all employees.o Conduct regular safety audits, drills and training sessions.o Collaborate with the EHS Manager to develop and implement safety protocols, track safety KPIs (e.g., incident rates, near misses, safety audit scores), and ensure continuous improvement in safety performance•Strategic Planning:o Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve production goals and objectives.o Identify and leverage opportunities for growth and expansion.Qualifications:•Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or +10 years of relative manufacturing leadership experience•Minimum of 3 years of experience in plant management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.•Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and improving production metrics.•Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and motivate teams.•Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, production schedules, and operational processes.•In-depth understanding of safety and environmental compliance policies and regulations.•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.If you are a passionate and results-driven leader who is committed to excellence, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
