Position SummaryThe Department of Emergency Medicine Consortium is looking to hire a motivated professional to serve as the Program Manager. The primary role of this position will be to manage and oversee all aspects of the EMS Medbow program to ensure efficiency and allow greater coverage of event medicine. This will be a multifaceted position and will include oversight of the program's budget, program operations and development of standard operating procedures for the overall success of the program.

Under indirect supervision, oversees the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program/project typically consisting of a set of closely related subprograms or associated activities funded through local- and/or state-level contracts/grants. Oversees fiscal, operational, administrative, and human resources management of the program(s). Seeks and develops outside funding sources and maintains responsibility for the appropriate use of programmatic funds within the parameters of the contract(s)/grant(s), up to approximately $1 million per fiscal year.

Serves as principal point of representation and liaison with external constituencies on the local and state level on operational matters. Provides day-to-day technical/professional guidance and leadership as appropriate to the area of expertise. The program/project is usually focused on a single purpose; may be scientific, research, education, and/or service-oriented, and is usually funded through contract/grant provisions. This is typically a term position tied to the contract/grant funding period, which requires approval by Human Resources before useSee the Position Description for additional information.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 6 years of experience 2 of which are management level experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
