Position Summary
The Health Sciences FinancialServices Offices provides fiscal services to the entire Health Science Campus,including off-site departments.
Our mission is to provideprompt, accurate, courteous and professional services to meet all of ourcustomer's needs. Our customers range from students, staff, faculty, andoutside vendors and agencies.
Health Sciences FinancialServices is looking for a dynamic, self-directed professional for the positionof Associate Controller in its Unrestricted Accounting Department. The idealcandidate is a motivated self-starter who possesses a strong accountingbackground and experience with University Compliance and Related PartyConsolidations. The successful candidate must be knowledgeable in financialreporting and systems, and possess strong communication and problem-solvingskills.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree;at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications•Proficiency/Expertise:Using databases for analysisWith GASB regulations and inter-company and state governmental regulations•Experience with/in:Higher education accountingsystems Training in, or experience with Banner Finance or a similar integratedsystem Collection of accounts receivableBasic Knowledge of ClinicalOperations Professional accounting in large, private or public-sector environment
