Points North is looking for a dynamic and motivated People and Culture (HR) Generalist to join our growing People and Culture team! In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of functions, including recruitment and talent acquisition, organizational development, employee relations, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.What You’ll Be Doing:Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and facilitating a smooth offer to onboarding experience
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand headcount needs and develop effective recruitment strategies based
Enhance employer branding through outreach initiatives and online presence
Organizational Development:Assist in the design and implementation of training and development programs
Support performance management processes, including goal setting and bi-annual performance reviews cadences
Participate in career architecture refresh developing clear career pathing for employees
Promote employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive organizational culture
Employee Relations:Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and workplace issues
Address and resolve employee concerns and conflicts in a timely and professional manner
Conduct exit interviews, bi-annual employee engagement surveys, new hire feedback and stay interviews with employees; analyze feedback for continuous improvement
Benefits Administration:Support employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies
Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries
Stay updated on benefits trends and regulations to ensure compliancePeople and Culture Support:Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation
Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures
Active member of the Culture Committee
Support various projects and initiatives, as needed
We're Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or relevant equivalent experience in the field
3+ years of experience in an employee facing People and Culture role (Recruitment, HRBP, HR Generalist)
Minimum of 6+ months experience in a high growth SaaS or agency environment
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Applicant Tracking, and HRIS systems
