Project Controls Manager - Pharmaceuticals - Ohio - 12-Month Contract
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Controls Manager to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Key Responsibilities:The individual will be responsible for services in the field of program management for a large-scale CAPEX investmentStatus / summary reports on progress to be written when requestedWork to be carried out within the program scope(s) and agreed budgetProject GovernanceProject Controls managementStrategic optimization at program and project management levelConsulting on matters of strategic influenceConsulting in respect to corporate direction of capital investmentCost estimating using extensive own bench marking dataSelection of subcontractorsNegotiations with subcontractorsConsulting to procurementGeneral trouble shooting
Qualifications:Experience Providing Project Control expertise across entire project scopeAbility to Communicate / co-ordinate resources as requiredDegree level qualification or equivalent, in an appropriate Engineering or Finance discipline and a minimum of 8 years relevant experiencePrevious experience in execution and administration of largescale projects is essentialGood commercial and engineering industry knowledge is desirableGood communication skills and the ability to interact positively at all levels in the organisation are necessary prerequisitesMinimum of 10 years working experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Controls professional on very large construction programsExperience setting and leading project controls teamsSignificant experience and strong problem-solving skills in project & program management.Excellent verbal and written communications skillsAbility to interface with resources within and within project supplier organizationsKnowledge of industry best practices for project controls and scheduling.If this role is of interest to you, please apply now!
