Part-Time Grant Writer (Contract, W2)
Location:
Lombard, IL (Remote with occasional onsite meetings)
Hours:
20-25 hours/week
About Our Client:Our client is a dedicated non-profit organization and they are seeking a skilled Part-Time Grant Writer to support their ongoing funding efforts through well-crafted proposals and applications.
Key Responsibilities:Research and identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources.
Write and edit grant proposals, ensuring they align with the organizations mission and goals.
Develop and maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and submission requirements.
Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary data and information for proposals.
Prepare supporting documents, including budgets, narratives, and reports as required by funders.
Monitor and track the status of submitted proposals and maintain organized records of grant applications.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in English, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in grant writing, with a track record of successful proposals.
Strong research skills and familiarity with grant databases and funding sources.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Local with the ability to attend onsite meetings 1-2 times per month.
Preferred availability to work during afternoon office hours.
Pay Details:
$30.00 to $35.00 per hour
