In this key role, you
will provide advanced analytical support to UCLA Health Performance Strategy
and Analytics. Your responsibilities will include:
Taking on complex projects that require advance analytical skill and business intelligence practices.
Organizing analytics teams to collect standardized and consistent information.
Providing support for the clinical dashboards, performance improvement-related information to committees and groups, analytics support for setting and tracking clinical goals in collaboration with senior executive leaders, and analytics support on projects related to the development and execution of performance strategies and objectives.
Mentor and participate in curriculum building for training junior team members in the department.
Work effectively with minimum supervision as part of a team and work productively with the department staff while assuring the maximum use of technology to promote efficient work systems.
Annual Salary Range:
$92,600.00 - $202,200.00
Schedule: Monday -
Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm (Fixed Hybrid)

Qualifications
REQUIRED:
BS degree in statistics, Business, computer
science, mathematics, or quantitative analysis related field or equivalent
experience
Advance skill in
Python, Tableau, SQL, R, Excel, SPSS,
and PowerPoint
8+ years of experience in Clinical Data
Analytics, Statistics, and Quality Measures
8+ years of experience in advance
analytical and quantitative skills
Strong critical thinking and problem
solving skills
Project management skills
Excellent understanding of the
industry-specific issues, regulatory requirements, and current healthcare
industry
Must have the ability to work in a
fast-paced and creative environment
Ability to think 'outside-the-box' and be
creative to accomplish departmental goals
Ability to prioritize work and remain
detail oriented
Ability to lead System wide complex
projects
Excellent oral and written communication
skills
PREFERRED:
MBA or MS in
quantitative analytical fields
5+ year in Python,
SQL, and Tableau experience
3+ year experience in
data science (AI/ML), data management and data analysis
2+ year experience in
healthcare industry
2+ year experience in
project management
