Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical conditions.Lead a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of patient-centered care in the emergency department.Conduct thorough patient assessments, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to formulate treatment plans.Perform necessary medical procedures and administer treatments as indicated.Communicate effectively with patients and their families to educate them regarding their care and treatment options.Participate in the continuous improvement of patient safety and quality assurance initiatives.Mentor and collaborate with APPs and other healthcare staff to enhance care delivery.RequirementsMD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.Board certification in Emergency Medicine is required.Active medical license to practice in the state of New York.Minimum of 3 years of experience in an emergency medicine setting preferred.Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications are required.Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in high-stress environments.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to collaborative care.Dedication to professional development and staying current with advancements in emergency medicine.BenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
