We invite you to join team TravisMathew.The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing operations at several retail locations within a defined territory. This individual is responsible for managing sales plans and results, managing budgets and P&L statements, executing and overseeing brand strategies, and hiring, training and developing of the store teams.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOversee the recruitment, training, development and succession planning of the store teams within applicable territory.Support team development through facilitating developmental conversations with store leaders to set annual goals and conduct End Of Year Reviews.Ensure regular communication with store teams on business performance, company values and goals through weekly conference calls and touch bases with store leaders.Facilitate monthly store visits to provide coaching and development to store management teams, set expectations and follow up on results and selling behaviors.Manage budgets, sales targets and KPI results within applicable territory.Lead results through assessing monthly associate sales and KPI reporting and with store leaders, create actionable strategies to drive results.Manage monthly financial reporting (i.e., audits, chargebacks, deposits, monthly fees) in partnership with the Store Manager(s).Manage all controlled expenses (i.e., client relations, payroll, supplies, wardrobe) in partnership with the Store Manager(s).Manage monthly credit card expense reconciliations.Manage store level Financial Trackers to ensure secure cash handling is being executed per company policy in all applicable store locations.Follow up on visual merchandising directives to ensure stores are set to correctly and on time to the most current delivery within applicable territory.Prevent loss by leading store teams to accurately receive shipments, process store to store transfers and mark out of stocks, conduct quarterly audits and assist with the management of the annual physical inventory process within store locations.Partner with District Manager(s) and Marketing Team on the implementation and execution of brand building / sales driving initiatives.Identify operational efficiency opportunities and partner with management and/or cross-functional teams to implement applicable initiatives.Execute, and manage adherence to, functional policies and procedures.TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)Proficient in Microsoft Applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Proficient in Point of Sale software/systems.Strong leadership skills, with an emphasis in training and development.Ability to manage multi-store responsibility with an emphasis on driving results.Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.Ability to travel domestically.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field.Minimum 5 years’ experience in a store management capacity.Experience in a multi-store management capacity, preferred.Salary: 75,200.00 - 94,000.00 - 112,800.00 USD AnnualIf your experience is close to what we're looking for, please consider applying!
