Do you have a successful track record representing clients and are interested in mentoring the next generation of legal professionals? Our firm is seeking an experienced senior attorney who is adept at handling a large caseload and familiar with all aspects of the trial process, particularly drafting pleadings, motions, and notices, and working toward a resolution. You will also have extensive experience in estate planning, probate, guardianship, and real estate matters. Create and review estate plans, probate and guardianship and real estate documents.Attend Veterans benefits hearings, as needed.The Senior Attorney may also conduct initial consultations with prospective clients and serve as the principal contact between the Firm and its clients.When delegated by the Partners, the Senior Attorney may prospect for new clients through marketing, networking, writing articles, and speaking engagements.Stay updated on changing applicable laws and statutes on the local, state, and federal levels.Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests/responses.Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients.Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings.Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions.Counsel associates to resolve or prevent conflicts.Qualifications
Prior experience representing clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration.Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision.Bachelor’s degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or J.D. degree).Admitted to local and state bar associations.Compensation
