SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST
We are seeking an innovative Senior Communications Specialist to lead our internal communication strategy and drive employee engagement across the organization. In this role, you will collaborate closely with leaders, subject matter experts, and various teams to craft clear, consistent, and impactful messages tailored to our internal audiences. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive employee experience communications plan, coordinating strategic initiatives, events, and communications that strengthen our company culture and enhance overall engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organization's internal communications and employee experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Craft clear, digestible messages that align team members with key company objectives and performance.
Develop and communicate key messaging to reinforce company culture and strategic goals.
Coordinate and execute communications across various platforms, including presentations, newsletters, in-office displays, and Slack.
Facilitate remote engagement, keeping all teams connected and supported.
Own and manage the updates, delivery and coordination of our new hire orientation program.
Optimize the LMS system to support employee development and explore innovative enhancements.
Lead employee recognition programs and events to celebrate contributions and achievements.
Handle ad-hoc communication for strategic events and change management.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM
5+ years experience in Communications, Marketing or Journalism
2+ years of experience designing and developing learning materials and programs, familiarity with LMS preferred
Experience in Hubspot/Mailchimp or similar platform
Experience leveraging AI tools
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth business environment
Strong attention to detail and organization
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to collaboratively gather information from key stakeholders and distill the most important messages into a compelling narrative
The base compensation for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 annualized depending on experience and qualifications.
This role is based out of our Hawaii Kai neighborhood office on the island of Oahu. Employees work a hybrid schedule (Monday/Friday working remotely; Tuesday-Thursday in office).
