Director of Human Resources
to join our team at Trillium Woods.
The
Trillium Woods
is recruiting for Director of Human Resources. Working in accordance with the established Life Care Services (LCS) and Trillium Woods’ mission, policies, and procedures, the Human Resources Director will lead, direct, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resources (HR) Department. The Director of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing HR management and department operations, managing the HR Department budget, and coordinating with management to ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Director of Human Resources:
Recruits, interviews, hires, supervises new staff in the HR Department.
Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization, department, and strategy needs.
Administers or oversees the administration of human resources programs including but not limited to: compensation, benefits, disciplinary matters, dispute and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition and morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
Serves as a resource for supervisory staff, explaining and interpreting personnel procedures and the implications of applicable laws and regulations, assisting as needed in the completion of necessary documentation of personnel matters.
Identifies staffing and recruiting needs.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Five years of progressively responsible HR Management experience.
Experience working in senior living, hospitality, or related industry preferred.
Three years of supervisory experience preferred.
On-site required.
