Inquiry Curriculum Support Coordinator

The Inquiry Curriculum Support Coordinator will be part of the course support team for several Inquiry Curriculum courses and programs in the School of Medicine, collaborating with other Coordinators to support course planning, implementation, student events, and reimbursements. This is a full-time position which will be a mix of remote and on-campus work (Parnassus). This position reports to the Manager of Inquiry Curriculum. November 2024 - February 2025, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:Event support:Support faculty with session set-up and ensure classroom technology is functioning properly.Work with campus technology team to troubleshoot any classroom technical issues.Use campus classroom reservation system to reserve classrooms and make updates as needed.Prepare catering orders and manage delivery and set-up.Update learner management tools (CLE/Ilios), including changes to student calendars, rooms, and learning materials.Track student attendance across multiple required activities.Manage Outlook invites and ensure faculty facilitators have information needed for sessions.Update registration forms for student works in progress sessions and manage signups.Student reimbursements and stipends:Review expense reports and process reimbursements.Update student records on shared tracking sheet.Communicate with students and colleagues to gather necessary information.Respond to student inquiries.The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Please note: An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role. For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.Required QualificationsThorough knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory requirements. Solid knowledge of health professions education program requirements. Thorough knowledge of health professions education industry. Thorough knowledge of administrative analysis and operations research. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement processes and systems. Thorough knowledge of the administrative and operational implications in a program. Demonstrated experience and documented excellence in oral and written communications skills; includes active listening and critical thinking. Strong interpersonal skills. Actively cooperates and supports the work of others. Ability to work productively with anyone regardless of background. Empathetic and aware of impact on others. Strong problem-solving skills to assist learners and resolve issues. Excellent organizational skills, analytical, and demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to complete work and meet established deadlines in an accurate and timely manner, and to manage short and competing deadlines. Thorough knowledge of educational software and platforms. Demonstrated ability to analyze and seek solutions to enhance the user experience. Thorough knowledge of data management, documentation methods used in investigating and presenting findings about the program. Skills include statistical analysis of data across databases and systems.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).Experience with UCSF systems a plus!
