Responsibilities
Knowledge and professional experience at the policy and strategic level of security and defense institutions in the region.
Knowledge and professional experience on the evolution of emerging, accelerated and exponential digital technology that constitutes the fundamental basis of cybersecurity.
Updated knowledge of the state of the art of military and security institutions in matters of implementation of cybersecurity policies and strategies.
Publications of policy and strategic analysis on cybersecurity focused on the threats, challenges and opportunities of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Knowledge on artificial intelligence issues in the present and future, particularly in military institutions in general and in the region.
Updated knowledge on the United States cybersecurity strategy, especially the central axes of this strategy for Latin America and the Caribbean.
Occasional travel within the continental United States as well as throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
Qualifications
Four plus (4+) years of professional experience as a subject matter expert on climate change issues, with focus on the risks, consequences, and responses associated with climate change, development of national policy to build resilience to catastrophic risks, including climate mitigation and adaptation and the development of strategic plans regarding environmental disasters.
Ability to speak and write Spanish and English is required.
Master's degree in the field of Cyber, Information Technology, or equivalent area of study.
Doctorate degree in a field of earth or environmental sciences is preferred.
Ability to speak and write Portuguese desired.
Pay Range
$190,000.00
Regular - The company offers a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) and a range of other voluntary benefits. Paid Time Off (PTO) is offered to regular full-time and part-time employees.
