Addison Group Los Angeles seeks a Staff Accountant to join a San Fernando Valley company. For this construction company, the Staff Accountant will support the entire accounting team.
Job
- You will work with all real estate entities, profit and non-profit. You will perform day-to-day accounting tasks, accounts payable, financial models, budgets, and audits. You will also do some financial acquisition analysis of new properties.
Job Site Status (Remote/Hybrid/Onsite)
– The role is currently hybrid (4 days/week in the office, with Fridays remote).

Compensation/Benefits
– Salary range is $60,000/year-$75,000/year. Our client supplements base compensation with 100% paid benefits (medical, dental, and vision insurance plans), 401k with employer matching up to 5%, and PTO vacation days.
STAFF ACCOUNTANT DUTIES
General Ledger (G/L) Accounting
Perform various accounting functions for different business entities
Report daily bank activity for all entities and identify any variances
Audit and reconcile monthly credit card statements/expense reports
Maintain database of all recurring monthly payments for each entity
Accept other ad hoc duties as needed
STAFF ACCOUNTANT QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or Business Administration with an Accounting focus or equivalent level of work experience
At least one (1) year of accounting experience
Preferred
Audit experience
Professional services experience such as a law firm or public accounting firm
STAFF ACCOUNTANT SKILLS
Required
Detail oriented, with high level of ethics and integrity
Superior organizational skills
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Expert-Level proficiency in Microsoft Excel ( v-lookups, pivot tables, IF Formulas )
Proficiency with QuickBooks
Fluency in Mandarin
