Job Overview - Financial Analyst (Private Equity):
Take on a pivotal role as a Financial Analyst specializing in Private Equity with our client’s team in Boston, MA. You’ll manage and deliver accurate financial reports on partner investments, collaborating with a dynamic team to support private equity operations.
Compensation:
$80,000 - $100,000/year + bonus
Location:
Boston, MA
Schedule:
Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Responsibilities as the Financial Analyst:
Investment Accounting:
Perform monthly accounting and reconciliation of partner investments and related cash flows.
Tax Deliverables:
Manage the collection, organization, and retention of quarterly and year-end tax deliverables, including K-1s and IRS Foreign Reporting Forms.
Expense Management:
Approve and process expense payments while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Document Management:
Organize and maintain comprehensive financial records, transferring data into financial software databases.
Tax Support:
Collaborate with external tax preparers and assist in preparing necessary tax documents.
Qualifications for the Financial Analyst:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Experience:
2+ years of Finance experience with a strong understanding of tax and accounting principles for investments.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with managing balance sheets and investment summaries for high-net-worth individuals.
Skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Attributes:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of discretion, integrity, and initiative.
