Summary of Role
The Event Manager will be responsible for servicing groups and nurturing existing accounts to support all qualified group business to achieve and exceed hotel service and revenue goals. The Event Manager will execute all convention service-related activities while building strong, trusting, long-lasting client and peer relationships. This is a hands-on leadership position that must ensure the execution of guest expectations for meetings and events.
The salary range for this position is: $70,000 to 80,000 annually. This position is bonus eligible.

Manage events effectively (hotel experience preferred)
Possess excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational skills
Set high personal performance standards and track individual and team progress toward goals
Understand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel
Exhibit strong leadership skills in a dynamic environment
Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team
Build morale and promote positive employee engagement
Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while striving to improve operational standards
