The program coordinator will serve as the support liaison in business consulting, training, and counseling for women entrepreneurs to help them overcome challenges in starting, growing, and sustaining their businesses. As an ambassador for the organization, this person is also responsible for actively supporting the overall mission and vision of NEW.Duties and Responsibilities
Formulate, prepare, and schedule business workshops/webinars.Provide general support for Program Director, Managers, and Coordinators.Manage client databases to assure client profiles are complete and accurate.Provide general office support such as greeting clients, answering phones, client enrollments, appointments, and various office duties as assigned.Coordinate the program’s operation updates which include updating Zoom, Eventbrite, and the website.Attend weekly meetings and quarterly department meetings.Evening and weekend work may be required on occasion.Assist with essential day-to-day administrative job functions as needed.Qualifications and Experience
Program reporting and management of data requires the following skills: software efficiency needed in.Excellent verbal, organizational, and written communication skills, including time management.Strong computer skills, including experience with applications such as Google Meet and Zoom.Ability to work with minimal supervision to complete tasks and projects.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented.Bilingual with an emphasis in Spanish is preferred.Education
AA in Management, Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience.Minimum 1 year experience in program management for small businesses.Additional Requirements
Must have access to reliable transportation and provide proof of current California driver’s license, acceptable driving record (current DMV H6 printout), and current liability auto insurance.Fingerprinting and TB Clearance.Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends.New Economics for Women (NEW) is an equal opportunity employer.
