OverviewPlans, monitors and manages internal projects from initiation through completion. Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, troubleshooting, and team leadership. Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments, or resource additions. Responsibilities are within the Program Management Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines.
ResponsibilitiesManages all aspects of complex projects throughout the project lifecycle: planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery.Liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated.Assists with the selection, negotiation, and managing of all activities regarding external consultants or vendors.Utilizes appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines.Plans and facilitates project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to track project tasks.Prepares agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries.Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to senior management.Monitors task completion status to identify at-risk project tasks and to develop mitigation plans.Allocates resources, budgets, and hours to the project and adjusts allocations when necessary.
QualificationsRequired Education:
Associate's Degree OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & ExperiencePreferred Education:
Bachelor's DegreeDiscipline/Major:
Business degree or related discipline preferred.Additional Certifications:
Project Management Certification preferred.Years and Area of Experience (required for the role):
0-3 years of relevant experienceKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Oral and written communication skills, ability to build collaborative relationships, detail-oriented, ability to meet deadlines, fit/gap analysis, needs analysis, project management, project controls, project development, project documentation, project estimation, project evaluation, project implementation, project planning and scheduling, project status reporting, scope management, stakeholder management, project management software.Critical Professional Related Technical Skills; Computer Skills:
Proficient with use of Microsoft Office.
