Keep reading.ProMach is looking for a Director of Technology to join their Zalkin product brand to provide strategic leadership, technical vision, and mentorship to a multi-disciplinary teams responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and supporting the Zalkin brand of products through their entire lifecycle. This role will closely collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to ensure seamless product delivery and technical expertise to internal and external customers.This role reports to the General Manager at the Statham, GA facility and collaborates with the Engineering and Project Management teams in France to achieve excellence in order fulfillment and project delivery across the Americas region.In this Role you will be responsible for:Develop and communicate a clear strategic vision for the Engineering, Project management and Lab departments that aligns with company goals, ensuring all employees understand and contribute to this vision.Build and lead a high-performing team by conducting skill gap analyses and implementing action plans to develop talent through coaching, feedback sessions and training.Lead a team of professionals, including engineers, programmer, project managers and a lab resource to ensure the highest quality and efficiency for all customer orders.Partner with application engineering and sales team to evaluate customer proposals and develop cost-effective, innovative solutions. Ensure projects are feasible, meet customer’s needs as well as GM/EBIDTA contribution targets, and align with technical capabilities.Participate in joint sales calls to fully understand customer requirements and ensure solutions align with customer needs and expectations.Deliver clear, timely engineering solutions and manage design changes to enhance customer satisfaction and increase product margin.Ensure smooth execution of projects from planning through SAT, managing budgets, stakeholder communication, and continuously improving order fulfillment and project management processes.Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, focusing on innovation and development of new technologies that enhance product design and support revenue and gross profit growth targets.Utilize lean manufacturing techniques to enhance engineering and manufacturing efficiency, improving overall EBIDTA.Develop and manage Capping Center of Expertise to increase proximity with customers, prospects and packaging suppliers to position Zalkin to win orders.What’s in it for you?There's no monopoly on good ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team. And because we understand the importance of feeling protected, there is no waiting period for benefits — you are eligible on your first day of employment!If this sounds like you, we want to connect!Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical engineering or Electrical engineering.Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial machinery design including machine personalized parts, preferably in packaging or automation industry.Strong technical background in electrical or mechanical engineering, with hands-on expertise and practical experience in problem-solving and decision-making.3-5 years of Project Management experience, managing projects and a team of Project Managers. Familiar with project management methodologies and tools (PMP certification desired but not required).Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks and business/project management software (MS Office, Smartsheet, MS Project Professional, SharePoint).Experienced with Product Data Management system implementation to automate tasks and improve processes.Strong leadership abilities, capable of fostering collaboration across teams and building trust through effective communication at all levels.Ability to travel domestically and internationally (10-15%).Pro Mach, Inc.
