The Director of Employer Development manages the Employer Development team and works closely with the Career Center Director to develop and implement strategies for the Carlson Business Career Center to improve the quality and increase the number of local and national companies who hire graduate and undergraduate Carlson students. This position will lead the team to enhance relationships with existing client firms (account management) and will add new firms to the client base (employer/business development).JOB DESCRIPTION:Employer Development Strategy (40%):

Set strategy in alignment with the Exec Director for the annual employer facing team's plan. Maintain, develop and expand relationships with all recruiters, company representatives, and alumni with local and national companies.Student Services (20%):

Lead team in identifying the best way to partner with the student facing coaching team and engage with students directly to showcase employer engagement opportunities.Leadership, Management and Supervision (25%):

Supervise the employer development team. Develop employer development strategy and ensure that team members are adhering to minimum weekly activity requirements and meeting defined placement goals.Marketing and Events (15%):

Identify need for new events/restructuring of current events that connect all Carlson students to employers.
