Overview:
The IT Support Specialist will provide technical support and troubleshooting for a range of IT systems, including laptops, desktops, routers, switches, MacBooks, and video conferencing solutions.
Responsibilities:
Provide IT support for laptops, desktops, and MacBooks, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Administer and maintain routers and switches to ensure optimal network performance
Manage MS Azure, ENTRA, and MS Exchange environments, including setting up user accounts and managing access
Support and maintain AvePoint backup solutions for user data and system recovery
Perform tasks such as password changes, MFA token management, and troubleshooting authentication issues
Issue laptops and necessary hardware to new employees, ensuring proper configuration and setup
Collect laptops and hardware from outgoing employees and securely process IT offboarding
Maintain and update the IT hardware inventory, tracking all issued and returned equipment
Provide support for video teleconferencing systems (Zoom, Zoom Phones) and resolve any connectivity or functionality issues
Ensure all IT hardware is properly maintained and troubleshoot any hardware-related problems
Support end users with technical issues both onsite and occasionally remotely
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in IT support or a related role
Expertise in MS Azure, MS ENTRA, MS Exchange, and AvePoint backup solutions
Proficiency with troubleshooting laptops, desktops, MacBooks, and other hardware
Experience with networking technologies such as routers and switches
Familiarity with Zoom and Zoom Phones for teleconferencing support
Excellent problem-solving skills and superior attention to detail
Experience managing IT hardware inventory, including issuance and collection of equipment
Ability to manage and troubleshoot MFA tokens, user accounts, and password issues
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
MS Azure, ENTRA, Exchange, or AvePoint certifications are a plus
Experience with additional video conferencing platforms or other hardware preferred
Secret or higher clearance preferred but not required
