Position Overview:
The Director of Operations plays a critical role in overseeing the operational effectiveness of all car wash locations, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and delivering a superior customer experience. Reporting directly to the executive team, this leader will be responsible for maintaining operational excellence, driving financial performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational management, financial oversight, and team leadership, with a focus on optimizing processes, enhancing customer satisfaction, and maintaining high safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Operations Across Locations – Ensure day-to-day operations of all car wash facilities are aligned with company standards and strategic goals.
Team Leadership & Development – Lead, mentor, and develop Area Managers, Facility Managers, and Service Team to ensure a high-performing, customer-focused workforce.
Proactive Maintenance Management – Work closely with the operations team to implement preventative maintenance strategies and ensure timely responses to operational issues.
Develop & Refine Procedures – Continuously improve operational procedures to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance service delivery.
Customer Experience Enhancement – Collaborate with the Customer Success department to improve customer interactions and ensure a high level of satisfaction across all locations.
Reporting & Performance Analysis – Provide detailed reports on operational performance and drive improvement through data-driven insights and team collaboration.
Operational Innovation & Technology Integration – Lead efforts to incorporate new technologies and innovative processes to improve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance the customer experience across all locations.
Financial Management – Oversee operational budgets, analyze financial performance, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and increased profitability.
Strategic Vision & Growth – Collaborate with the executive team to develop long-term operational strategies that support company growth and continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives – Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in
Business , Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
8-10 years of
leadership
experience in operations management, ideally within the
car wash
or related industries, and overseeing
multiple locations .
Strong
financial acumen
with experience in budgeting, P&L management, and cost control strategies.
Proven experience in team leadership and talent development, with a demonstrated ability to manage and
inspire teams
across multiple locations.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with team members, vendors, and executive leadership.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in
Power BI , or other relevant operational software.
