Job Summary:

The President of Operations will oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability. This strategic leadership role requires extensive experience in metal manufacturing, strong operational acumen, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with our mission of delivering cutting-edge manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement operational strategies that align with White Rock’s vision and goals. Lead the operations team to achieve high performance and operational excellence.

Operational Management:

Oversee daily operations, including production, supply chain, quality control, and maintenance. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations to maintain our commitment to sustainable practices.

Financial Oversight:

Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive profitability through strategic decision-making.

Process Improvement:

Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives. Optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste, ensuring we meet the highest quality standards.

Team Development:

Build and mentor a high-performing operations team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth that aligns with our core values.

Customer Focus:

Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of product quality and on-time delivery. Address and resolve operational issues promptly to enhance client relationships.

Technology Integration:

Leverage advanced manufacturing technologies to improve productivity and competitiveness. Stay informed about industry trends and innovations to maintain our leadership position.

Sales Engineering Collaboration:

Work closely with the sales engineering team to support technical sales processes, ensuring seamless integration of product features and benefits into sales strategies.

Corporate Navigation:

Navigate the corporate environment effectively, coordinating with sister companies and fostering strong inter-company relationships to leverage synergies and drive overall business success.

Investor Relations:

Communicate operational performance and strategic initiatives to investors, building and maintaining strong relationships to support business growth and funding.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in metal manufacturing, including laser cutting, CNC machining, and welding, is highly desirable.

Skills:

Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities.

Excellent financial management and analytical skills.

Proficiency in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage complex projects and drive changes effectively.

Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.

Experience in sales engineering and supporting technical sales processes.

Strong relationship-building skills with investors and stakeholders.
