Pre-School Extended Care Program Monitor
The International School of San Francisco is a PK-12 independent school in San Francisco. It is also of paramount importance to us that we continue to foster an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion as we build a school community of individuals who are an actual representation of the world in which we live.Position Overview:The monitor will supervise and engage in activities with students in grades PreK-2 to PK-4 at our Page Street Campus during recess and after school.Schedule:The position available during the school year is for approximately 30 hours per week.The monitor will also be working full time during our week-long school breaks:October 8th - October 11th, 2024February 18th - February 21st, 2025April 4th - April 11th, 2025Key Responsibilities:Support / facilitate student drop off and pick up.Plan activities with co-workers (sports, arts and crafts…).Prepare daily snacks as needed.Assist faculty as needed throughout the day.Keep all campus space tidy at all times.Communication with parents and staff.Resolve any conflicts by implementing social emotional learning.Other duties as required by supervisor.Qualifications:ECE (Early Childhood Education) Units.CPR training preferred.Enthusiastic, fast learner, proactive.Team-worker with strong communication skills.Experience working and developing age-appropriate activities with children ages 2-5 preferred but not required.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to bend, kneel, squat and stand/walk for extended periods of time.Fluency in French is a plus but not required.Eligible to work in the US.We offer $22/hr and a dynamic work environment.Live scan background and TB clearance required.
