About the Role

The Head of Data, Analytics, and Innovation is responsible for leading the strategic direction and operational management of the organization's data, analytics, and innovation functions. This role is pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making, fostering a culture of innovation, and leveraging advanced analytics to enhance business performance and growth.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Domain Expertise in Commercial Ops / Supply Chain / RnD

Develop and execute the data and analytics strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.

Champion the use of data and analytics across the organization to drive business insights and innovation.

Prior experience in managing Commercial or supply Chain or RnD data and its applications.

Data Management and Governance:

Oversee the management, governance, and quality of data across the organization.

Implement data governance policies, standards, and practices to ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance.

Analytics and Business Intelligence:

Lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions to solve complex business problems.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on data analysis and predictive modeling.

Innovation and Digital Transformation:

Foster a culture of innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies and methodologies.

Ability to use advanced technology of Data and BI using AI/ML – data science capabilities to deliver Commercial and Supply Chain solutions.

Drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and business performance.

Team Leadership and Development:

Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, and innovation specialists.

Promote continuous learning and professional development within the team.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data and analytics needs and opportunities.

Act as a liaison between the data and analytics team and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of data initiatives.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact and effectiveness of data and innovation initiatives.

Communicate findings, progress, and results to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Resource Management:

Manage the budget and resources for the data, analytics, and innovation functions.

Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources to achieve strategic objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field

10+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and innovation roles, with a proven track record of leadership

Strong knowledge of data management, analytics tools, and technologies

Experience with big data platforms, machine learning, and AI applications

Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and analytics platforms (e.g., Azure, Python, R Hadoop, Spark)

Ability to drive change and foster a culture of innovation within an organization

Strong business acumen and the ability to translate data insights into business strategies

Working Conditions

This role may require occasional travel to attend meetings, conferences, and training sessions

The position typically involves standard office hours, with the potential for extended hours during critical project phases

Hybrid Opportunity – 3 days a week in Princeton Junction, NJ office
