THE JOB:

As the General Manager, you will lead the operations of BetMGM Sports Bar, Chef Truck, and Side Betty Grill at Park MGM. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic and hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, exceptional customer service, and operational excellence.

THE DAY TO DAY:

Own, lead, and oversee daily restaurant operations, including labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service standards, and the development and execution of marketing strategies to drive short-term and long-term profitability. Collaborate with the Executive Chef to co-own the restaurant’s business plan and represent the restaurant in divisional, property, or corporate meetings.

Responsible for the implementation and adherence to all policies, operating procedures, pricing initiatives, training programs, directives, menus, and regulations for the restaurant staff. Ensure the restaurant’s compliance with F&B and company-wide initiatives and programs. Maintain the highest standards of health, sanitation, and cleanliness in all areas of the beverage service.

Oversee the completion of all company compliance training by the restaurant staff, ensuring adherence to company policies, legal requirements, employment laws, and collective bargaining agreements.

Manage HR responsibilities for the restaurant, including creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback (coaching and counseling), recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction. Oversee quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that align with the company’s diversity commitment and status quo third-party representation philosophy.

Frequently interact with guests to ensure their satisfaction and enjoyment of the dining experience. Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and appropriately. Manage the restaurant’s guest feedback channels through approved company practices.

Work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure a seamless service experience between the kitchen and dining room.

Maintain excellent knowledge of the venue’s food and beverage products, menu items, and equipment used to perform duties effectively.

This comprehensive approach ensures the restaurant operates efficiently, maintains high standards, and provides an exceptional dining experience for guests.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

2+ Years of prior leadership experience in a sports bar or fast casual environment.

Experience in presenting and analyzing Profit and Loss reports.

Beverage industry background.

Experience managing employees under a Collect Bargaining Agreement.

Background in marketing activations and menu development.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
