Central Care Cancer Center is seeking an experienced
Director of Human Resources
to lead and manage all HR functions across our Kansas and Missouri clinic locations. This position plays a critical role in partnering with clinic managers, physicians, senior leadership, and external contacts to facilitate human resources operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including benefit enrollments, changes, and open enrollment processes.
Lead recruitment efforts for management and support staff throughout all Central Care locations.
Manage all HR processes for new hires, including orientation, as well as handle resignations and terminations.
Prepare and present employment agreements and extend formal job offers.
Oversee Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) administration and Workers’ Compensation claims reporting.
Maintain and update the company handbook, ensuring policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Travel to clinic locations as needed to provide HR support and guidance to clinic managers and staff.
Collaborate closely with the CEO, CFO, and senior management to ensure strategic alignment of HR initiatives with business goals.
Manage performance evaluations and provide guidance on employee disciplinary actions.
Facilitate employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and management training to promote a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Proficient in HRIS systems with strong knowledge of benefits administration and federal/state labor laws.
Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to developing viable HR solutions.
Flexibility to travel to various clinic locations as required.
