HUMAN RESOURCE DIRECTOR
:
The HR Director will collaborate directly with executive management to align the bank's Human Resource strategy, strengthen workplace culture, and implement people-driven processes. The role will be responsible for departmental budget development, compensation and benefits, leave administration, progressive counseling, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, workplace culture initiatives, and other HR practices. The HR Director must be familiar with general accounting practices related to processing payroll, completing payroll reporting requests, and maintaining payroll control records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.

WHAT WILL I DO?
Oversee bank-wide HR operations and strategy, including talent acquisition, onboarding/offboarding, employee engagement, learning and development, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
Lead the ongoing design and execution of employee onboarding, training, and development programs to improve skills, leadership competencies, communication, and effectiveness.
Champion culture by creating and fostering an environment that reinforces the Bank's mission and values, sustains morale, engages multilateral feedback, embraces and is resilient to change, and attracts incredible new talent to accelerate bank growth.
Design and implement ongoing improvements to talent management strategies and programs including recruitment, training and development, engagement, retention, and succession.
Assess and determine performance management programs, ensuring that job descriptions, performance standards, and performance evaluation instruments promote operational excellence and accountability.
Manage employee relations, including investigations into performance and behavior issues, and advise on the appropriate level of coaching and/or progressive counseling where appropriate.
Ensure the bank provides a competitive total compensation package.
Develop and implement employee policies and maintain a compliant Employee Handbook.
Actively participate in strategic and operational planning by partnering with management to develop optimal organizational structures that support growth and scale.
Oversee the Bank's HRIS, payroll, and confidential personnel files.
Oversee payroll, ensuring that tracking and reporting employment hours worked, benefit hours taken, pay rate changes, and submission to the external payroll processing company.
Check benefit invoices against payroll deductions are completed accurately.
Answer staff questions regarding their payroll or benefits and intervene to correct any errors or omissions.
Align HR strategy to the Bank's overall mission, vision, and core values using innovative ideas, best practices and policies that will build and retain a world class team, and create a high-performing culture of success, accountability, transparency, and collaboration.
Communicate at all levels to support bank development.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Knowledge of payroll procedures.
Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and workplace terminology.
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures as well as OSHA standards.
