Dynamic family of 5 based in SF seeks a seasoned Family Assistant to join their team and serve as the “CEO” of their teenage daughters’ busy lives. This is an exceptional opportunity for a responsible, kind, and caring individual who can offer stability and flexibility to two sweet, funny, and creative teenage girls. The family has a strong team of long-time employees and is interested in finding a team player who brings compassion, humor, and thoughtfulness into their home.
The family can guarantee 30-40 hours per week and will consider candidate preferences. The hours will vary, 11-7pm M-F as a tentative schedule but it is expected the candidate can flex their schedule to accommodate the family’s needs to a 9-5, 10-6, or 12-8 as required when the parents are traveling. Candidates should have the ability to travel occasionally (1 week during school holidays, usually) to either of the two other family homes (in the Bay Area and overseas) as well as stay with the girls overnight as needed if both parents are out of town.
Experience Requirements
A minimum three years of experience as a family assistant or nanny
Educational Requirements
Fluency in English
College degree strongly preferred
Qualifications
Valid driver with clean driving record (family can provide a vehicle for work-related driving)
CPR Certified
COVID-vaccinated
Experience working with older children and teens
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision, but also work well with a team
Ability to maintain confidentiality; an NDA will be required

Flexibility to provide overnights and occasionally travel with the family (Bay Area and/or overseas)
Responsibilities
All driving including to and from school, extracurricular activities, and appointments.
Calendar management of all school, medical, and extracurricular activities, including but not limited to athletics, dance, carpools, play dates, sleepovers, and travel. Impeccable attention to detail and organization is required!
Oversight of medical appointments, communication with doctor’s offices and medication pick up
Assistance with homework as needed
Preparing girls for travel by creating checklists, helping with packing, ensuring any medications are included, and verifying passports are on hand.
Management and organization of the girls’ possessions, including clothing, electronics, school supplies, toys, etc.
Running errands as needed
Overnights when parents are traveling; occasional travel
