Akin is seeking a Vice President of Quality & Administrative Services!

Akin is the product of the 2024 merger between two of Washington state’s most impactful family services organizations, Childhaven and Children’s Home Society of Washington. With our combined experience and reach, we’re now able to offer expanded services, elevated connection, and more comprehensive wraparound support for Washington state families and their communities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader who will embrace and implement Akin’s mission throughout all duties performed. Akin is seeking candidates with:
BA or BS degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, data analytics or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
10+ years of professional analytics experience leading Data Analytics, IT, Business Intelligence, or combination thereof.
10+ years of progressive management and leadership experience, with a minimum five years’ senior leadership experience supervising seasoned technical and business-oriented staff across multiple disciplines.
Knowledge of national accreditation processes required (CARF, COA and Joint Commission are acceptable).
Experience with developing and leading teams in a shared services business model across multiple locations and designing scalable operations across multiple teams and/or businesses.
Strong analytic and strategic thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to create, implement, and monitor complex plans and translate those plans into goals and concrete strategies.
Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and Electronic Health Record systems (EHR) required.
Demonstrated ability to implement continuous quality improvement plans and processes enterprise-wide.
Preferred Experience:
Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration or a related field.
Demonstrated executive leadership experience in non-profit, human services, or mission-driven organization.
SQL knowledge.
Akin provides the option for 100% employer paid medical insurance. Dental and vision insurance are offered for additional cost. Employer pays for group term life insurance & AD&D, and short-term disability. There is a 3% safe harbor 401k employer contribution. Tuition reimbursement is available along with paid holidays, sick days, vacation time, and employee appreciation days.
