Position Summary
The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at theUniversity of New Mexico (UNM) Health Sciences Center is actively expanding andinvites applications for a distinguished Pediatric Ophthalmology and StrabismusSurgeon to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team.
We are seeking an individual who has completed an accreditedfellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. The successful candidatewill be responsible for establishing and maintaining a thriving clinicalpractice at the UNM Hospital Eye Clinic. Additionally, they will collaboratewith existing faculty to share on-call responsibilities and contribute to theeducation of medical students and residents. We are looking for candidates whodemonstrate a strong commitment to clinical excellence, teaching, and researchwithin an academic setting. The Eye Clinic at UNM, as part of the UNM HealthSystem, offers a unique and rewarding mix of tertiary and under-served care.
