As a Senior Contracts Lead at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the contract lifecycle for our Defense and Space business. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, legal, and finance teams, to ensure the successful execution of contracts and compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations. Your expertise in contract management and negotiation will be instrumental in driving successful business outcomes and mitigating legal risks.

You will report directly to our Director of Contracts, Defense and Space working out of our office located in Clearwater, FL or Phoenix, AZ on a Hybrid work schedule.

The Senior Contracts Lead will have a significant impact on Honeywell's contract management function and overall business operations. By effectively managing and overseeing the execution of contracts, this role will ensure that Honeywell operates in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, mitigating risks and protecting the company's interests.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Negotiate favorable contracts with customers.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide strategic advice.

Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including negotiation, drafting, and review.

Review international and sales commercial contracts against to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.

Handle contract disputes and provide guidance on dispute resolution.

Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks in contracts.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

YOU MUST HAVE:

6+ years of experience managing/negotiating USG defense contracts

Strong knowledge of sub-tier commercial terms and conditions is preferred

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
